Our Mission:
To support farmers in promoting sustainable agriculture and reducing waste. By integrating AI from individual plants to the national scale we will reduce costs, pesticide use, habitat loss and our carbon footprint.
Our Story:
After finishing a master’s in Genetic Analysis and working as an Agronomist for NIAB, Jamie began his PhD in Computer Science at the University of York. Working with Prof. Dan Franks and Prof. Katherine Denby, Jamie began his project to apply computer vision to detect disease in cocoa trees. Having successfully completed this project, a new and exciting opportunity presented itself. Combining our team’s expertise in agriculture, computer vision and AI, we founded Fairfield Vision with the ambitious aim of developing and deploying HiveSight, a contribution to a sustainable future.

Initially founded by University of York friends, Toby Cannon and Michael McCreadie, to help them stay active during lockdown, the app has now helped over 25,000 people with their fitness goals.
Physical inactivity is associated with 1 in 6 deaths in the UK and is estimated to cost the UK £7.4 billion annually. Unfortunately, our population is around 20% less active than in the 1960s. If current trends continue, it will be 35% less active by 2030.
Myles is used by private sector companies as well as the NHS to increase staff physical activity levels, resulting in a healthier, happier workforce.
The app connects with your favourite fitness tracker and allows you to record over 100 different activities and sports to ensure inclusivity. It then uses gamification and powerful social dynamics to help people form healthy habits and start behaviour change.
Users can complete challenges with their team, send motivational high fives to colleagues and earn rewards, such as charity donations or gift cards to their favourite retailers and restaurants.

At Causa, we believe that trust needs to be the backbone of technology.
That’s why we’re committed to causal AI: an AI that’s not just advanced, but also transparent, trustworthy and accountable.
We all know the adage ‘correlation is not causation’ but standard AI treats the two as equals. This leads to misleading recommendations that erode trust in AI. Causal AI is smarter.
It’s not just about predicting the future; it’s about shaping it responsibly and intelligently. Companies know the outcomes they want and only Causal AI can be trusted to get them there.
We provide CausaDB, a cloud-native platform for CausalOps using causal AI. Build, Manage, and Deploy Causal AI in the Cloud. CausaDB is a fully-featured solution to manage your workflow end-to-end.
It’s is designed to be integrated quickly and easily without expertise in all layers of the stack. No need to configure or manage your own servers. We handle all infrastructure on our cloud.
